This wine or water glass pair is in a beautiful ruby red color with clear bases and stems. They are 9 inches tall, 2.5 inches across the mouth, and 3inches across the base. Each of the glasses has a couple of very tiny bubbles in the base. These air bubbles are a natural result of the smelting process and can be a unique feature of handmade glass or can be gas inclusions that appear in the glass during manufacture. The bubbles are less than 1 mm in diameter and are therefore called "seeds". Tiny bubbles like these are more prevalent in antique glass.
