These Vintage Schmid Collectible Ornaments are in their original boxes and are a beautiful way to add nostalgic charm to any tree, ornament collection, or holiday decorations. Crafted with care, the ornaments are glass with a plastic wrap around them. Each ornament features unique details and intricate designs.
The 1975 "CHRISTMAS CHILD" ornament is second in the series and portrays a child on the front and a description of the Hummel art on the back.
The 1976 ornament, third in the series, captures the innonce and simplicity of children. It is called "Sacred Journey" and boasts children on the front with a description on the back.
The 1977 ornament is fourth in this limited edition series , "Herald Angel", boasts the angel based upon one of Sister Berta Hummel's unpublished works. She created it in 1930's as a gift for her family before entering the convent.
The original boxes all have some wear and coloring from age and use, but are still in very good shape.
All the ornaments are 3 1/4 inches wide with a metal top that has "Made in USA" inscribed in them. The ornaments are nearing a half a century in age and are in very good vintage condition, especially to be this old.
